Elementary school G1 - G6

The goal of the Cambridge International Course is to cultivate students’ curiosity and lifelong enthusiasm for learning, so that they are fully prepared for life. The course aims to cultivate students’ solid knowledge, conceptual understanding and higher-level thinking skills. In teaching, students are encouraged to learn actively, help students discover their own potential, explore a wider world, and master life-long skills that will benefit them in their studies and work.

COURSE

Each subject has a curriculum framework to provide a clear teaching structure. In order to monitor the progress of students, many schools use comprehensive assessment.

ENGLISH

 

Through the Cambridge International Primary School English course, students can communicate with others confidently and effectively. This subject helps students develop skills to understand and appreciate all kinds of information and respond to them.

Students who follow this curriculum framework will develop the ability to use English as a first language. The course is carefully designed to be successfully taught in any cultural background and can promote mutual understanding between cultures.

MATHEMATICS

 

The mathematics curriculum framework involves five content areas: arithmetic, geometry, measurement, data processing and problem solving. This course focuses on the principles, models, systems, functions and relations, so that students can apply the knowledge of mathematics they have mastered, and develop a comprehensive understanding of the subject.

Students who follow this curriculum framework will develop the ability to use English as a first language. The course is carefully designed to be successfully taught in any cultural background and can promote mutual understanding between cultures.

SCIENCE

 

The curriculum framework covers four content areas: scientific inquiry, biology, chemistry and physics. Scientific inquiry is mainly to consider ideas, evaluate evidence, plan, investigate, record and analyze data. Environmental awareness and some history of science are also part of the course.
